The Women's Center of Tarrant County is a non-profit organization that helps women and families overcome violence, crisis and poverty. Programs of assistance for female veterans include:
Employment Solutions: 817-927-4050
* Unemployed women and men find jobs and advance in the labor market through the Jobs NOW! program.
* Low-income women and families overcome problems that keep them in crisis and unable to be successful at work.
* Low-skilled women and men receive training in order to become employed, advance on the job and improve wages.
Counseling Services: 817-927-4040
* People in crisis and transition call the Helpline for problem solving assistance
* Adults and children receive individual and/or group counseling
* Homeless children and families receive support and referrals to meet their basic needs as they transition out of homelessness.
* Adults receive legal assistance in family law through the free Legal Clinic.
