The Veterans Center of North Texas (VCONT) provides Veterans assistance in the areas of employment, housing, education, health, transportation, financial aid and consultation, legal services, support services, community reintegration, Veteran benefits, food services, personal assistance, and caregiver assistance. 

VCONT employs the Texas 2-1-1 telephone information and referral system. The 2-1-1 system directs telephone inquires to the VCONT to facilitate Veterans to receive rapid and comprehensive information on benefits and services available in North Texas.

We also arrange transportation to and from appointments, as necessary, to ensure appointments are maintained, again preserving the valuable time and resources of the service organizations. Finally, after completing an appointment, we will solicit feedback from the service organization to ensure we provide continuous improvement in our assessment and scheduling processes.

We work with local Civic and Veterans organizations; major corporations and small businesses; and elected and appointed officials at the local, county, state and national level to maintain a high level of awareness with the Veteran community. We respond within one business day.
