The Armed Forces Recreation Center is a resort serving members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. The AFRC Resorts were built and financed by Service Members own funds and now operates on a self-sustaining basis. Personnel eligible to use the AFRC Resort guestrooms, food and beverage, recreation and facilities are defined as follows:
Check-In Time: After 1500 hours
Check-Out Time: Before 1100 hours
Rate and Eligibility Verification: Upon check-in, a valid military ID or DoD ID, and current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) is required. Rates are subject to pay grade verification upon check-in and to change without notice. Active and Career retired US Military Person.
The Shades of Green invites our U.S. Troops from all services and DoD personnel serving a minimum of 270 consecutive days or more in an CENTCOM AOR or Balkans location for OEF/OIF/Operation New Dawn and their dependent children the opportunity for a special vacation on Walt Disney World® Resort. You will receive 20% discount on your room reservations ranging from 1 – 14 nights. You must be on R&R during your visit or have returned from your deployment within the past 12 months.
